Welcome to the Plume Tea FAQ — here you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about our teas, ingredients, and shopping experience.


1️⃣ Are Plume Teas gluten-free?

Yes! All of our teas are 100% gluten-free. We never use wheat-based additives or flavorings, and we take great care to prevent cross-contamination. Whether you choose black, green, herbal, or wellness blends, every Plume Tea product is crafted to be safe and naturally gluten-free.


2️⃣ Where are your teas sourced from?

We partner with trusted growers and suppliers around the world to ensure quality and authenticity.
Some of our blends include:

  • French Peppermint from France 🇫🇷
  • Chamomile Serenity from Croatia 🇭🇷
  • Imperial Earl Grey featuring premium black tea and Italian bergamot 🇮🇹
  • Vanilla Chai with rich spices from India 🇮🇳

We carefully select each ingredient to create balanced, flavorful teas you can feel good about drinking.


3️⃣ Are your teas organic?

Several of our blends are certified organic, including Organic Jasmine, Organic Genmaicha, and Organic Rooibos. Each organic tea is clearly labeled on the product page so you can shop confidently.


4️⃣ How should I store my tea?

To keep your tea fresh and aromatic, store it in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. We recommend using an airtight container once opened to preserve the full flavor and aroma of your loose leaf tea.


5️⃣ How do I brew the perfect cup?

For most teas, we recommend:

  • 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 oz (240 ml) cup
  • Water temperature: 90–100°C (depending on the tea)
  • Steep time: 3–5 minutes

Tip: Herbal teas can steep a little longer for a stronger infusion, while green teas prefer slightly cooler water (around 80°C).


6️⃣ Do you offer caffeine-free teas?

Yes! Many of our herbal, rooibos, and wellness blends are naturally caffeine-free — perfect for evenings or anyone avoiding caffeine. Try favorites like Rooibos Bloom, Dreamy Night, or Goddess Blend for a soothing, caffeine-free experience.


7️⃣ How long does shipping take?

We’re proud to be based in Calgary, Alberta, and ship across Canada.
Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days and typically arrive in 2–5 business days depending on your location.
We also offer local Calgary pickup and delivery options.


8️⃣ Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we ship within Canada only. However, international shipping options are coming soon!


9️⃣ What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, e-transfers, and Shopify Payments for secure, seamless checkout.
